Beyond the Classic Indication

Lutetium-177 treatments: Expanding the Treatment Horizon with PRRT

Isotopia invites you to discover the full potential of Targeted Radionuclide Therapy.

While the registered and familiar indication for Lu-DOTATATE (e.g., Lutathera) focuses on metastatic or inoperable gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs, G1-G2), the clinical reality and scientific literature present a broader picture.

The theranostic principle establishes a clear rule: if the tumor distinctly expresses somatostatin receptors (SSTR) on PET/CT imaging, the diagnostic target may also serve as a therapeutic one.

Through the compassionate use pathway*, Isotopia supplies ready-to-inject treatment doses under GMP conditions to nuclear medicine departments across Israel, enabling you to offer an additional treatment option for patients who have exhausted standard alternatives.

Targeted Radionuclide Therapy
Treatable Clinical Indications (SSTR-Positive)

Non-GEP NETs

Cases demonstrating high uptake on PET, such as tumors originating in the lungs and bronchi (typical and atypical carcinoids) or the thymus.

High-Grade (G3) NETs

Patients with a high cellular proliferation rate (Ki-67 > 20%), but with well-differentiated disease that maintains robust expression of somatostatin receptors.

Sympathoadrenal System Tumors

A salvage therapy option for disseminated or inoperable cases of paraganglioma, pheochromocytoma (PPGL), and advanced neuroblastoma.

Meningioma (Non-NET)

A potential treatment option for recurrent or refractory brain tumors, whether malignant or benign, that are unsuitable for further surgery or radiation.

Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC)

For patients experiencing disease progression under tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy.

RAIR-DTC

Radioiodine-Refractory Differentiated Thyroid Cancer: Tumors that have lost the ability to absorb iodine but demonstrate compensatory SSTR uptake.

The Isotopia Advantage

We at Isotopia understand that the bureaucracy and logistics involved in compassionate care treatments can act as a barrier. Therefore, we provide a comprehensive, end-to-end solution:

Centralized Production at the Highest Standard

Manufactured under full cGMP conditions.

Ready-to-Use

The dose arrives at the hospital ready for direct patient injection, eliminating the need for complex radiopharmaceutical preparations in your department.

For patients with a positive SSTR PET/CT scan who are not eligible for standard treatment options, please contact us to discuss the treatment pathway.
